Back in the game

For those that have been with me for a while...I know that I kind of dropped off the face of the earth on here. Sadly because of the whole, change of jobs.

Not long after my last post on here, back in 2011, I found out that the place I was currently working at was going to shut my post down. Sadly, that doesn't mean that they were laying me off, it just meant that they had no where to place me...which meant I was on call. Now, being on call can sometimes be a good thing...but not when you are trying to pay for a wedding and save up money.

Luckily, my boyfriend (now Husband) new the shop manager in a Cool Springs that was short on people. He called him up and got everything set up for me. I had an interview and hired pretty much immediately! Which was competely amazing!

Being in the jewelery indurstry, where I had an hour drive to work and then another one home while working 10-7, and working on planning a wedding left me with no time for my blog!

I'll be honest here...I did not only put it on the back burner, but also forgot all about it! I'm sorry for that. I know how many people enjoyed reading about my fantastic ways of doing things! :)

Now, with that aside...things never went as they were planned or wrote about when I first started this blog. I know that Spencer and I were planning to have it at the parents' house...and that even though they were going through a divorce, that still had not changed.

But, sadly...it did. In October, I recieved a phone call (right before my sister's big day) from my father stating that they were just going to put the house under bandruptcy. Which means that it was to be sold off to the bank and no one could live there. That gave me eight months to find another new place and replan everything...all over again! I was so mad about it all!

Needless to say, it ended up turning up to be a giant blessing! After digging around, we were able to find that we could always go to the local park and be married there. They had shelters and it was right by the lake, it was even the same place we went and took some of the pictures! And it wasn't as bad of a price as some of these other places were charging...plus we got to decorate as we wanted!

May 5, 2012 was the best day of my life!

Looking back now, I can defantly say...that it was the day that I loved my husband the least. Every day my love for him grows stronger. :)

Also, with me being back in the game...I've started up my beauty channel on YouTube! This is something that I've recently started. But do not worry! I'm not planning on doing JUST makeup. That's what it might seem at the moment, but I have some BIG ideas for it!

My Happier Ever After
But, for the moment, I will leave you with a small, but tasty, bit of pictures from my fantastic day! Enjoy!

Being the bride, it was all about me!
